HOW TO KEEP YOUR NAILS LOOKING HEALTHY ALL SUMMER
We’ve all been washing our hands more than usual since the rise of Covid-19. Now that the summer months have come along, our nails tend to suffer from being exposed to the sun and Salty water, and chlorine. This can really dry out your natural nails. Here are a few tips on keeping them healthy in the summer months.
1: MOISTURIZE MORNING AND NIGHT. Apply a hand cream each time after washing hands to keep your skin, cuticles, and nails hydrated. Repeat each night as well.
2: USE A GENTLE BUT EFFECTIVE HAND WASH. This will help to prevent your skin from drying out.
3: DEEP CONDITION BI-WEEKLY. Conditioning is key. Firstly apply a cuticle oil to your nails and then a hydrating serum or thick cuticle cream over-top. Leave on nails over night. This really helps to rejuvenate and refresh the skin around your nails.
4: PROTECT. use a strengthening base coat at least once a week. This can be worn alone or under your favorite shade.
5: SEAL. Apply a top coat to lock in your manicure!
